Wednesday morning. Waking up in the middle of Bratislava after a great night with Death Angel, Exodus, Testament, Sepultura and Heathen, and right after realizing that you will be heading to your favorite place in the world: Obscene Extreme, here we come!
4 hours away from our destination. We arrived in Trutnov around 1 pm, in time to park, eat something and prepare ourselves. It was time for the Freak Fest!
Races in garbage cans, salt water until you vomit, fights on benches, spanking on the ass... All very Freak!!
Today was a special day, in recent editions the OEF has dedicated Wednesdays to being an event that is far from the festival itself. This time we had the “Weird Riffs” edition. We were able to enjoy bands like Masz, Morbid Evils, Belzebong, Deaf Kids... Conan who never disappoints. The headliners were Godflesh, and their live show was something from another planet. I have no words to describe the magic that was unleashed that night, incredible! We also had the privilege of chatting with Justin Broadrick, what a great guy!
Thursday; We woke up very excited. Today they played, among many amazing bands, Crisix, our Catalan friends and one of the best live bands today.
Bands like Heresy, Ona Snop, Phantom Corporation...
Crisix was a party without equal, it was very short but intense as could be. The quintet had an incredible time, proof of this are the shots taken during the performance.
Lik, Memoriam, God Macabre, Infest, Malevolent Creation... And all the other bands of the day.
A pity that it rained disproportionately for several hours, but this did not prevent the enjoyment of the crowd.
Friday promised a lot. What a great line-up!
Special mention to Feastem and P.L.F., brutal!
Seeing Benediction, Macabre, Dismember and Midnight in a row was huge! 4 great concerts to remember, I am left without words to express the happiness that it was.
In the tents we were able to fool around a bit at the 90's post-party to finish off the night, until they turned off the music and we finally went to sleep. What a great day, each and every one of the bands!
Saturday, and for many, the last day of the festival.
Special mention to our friends from Intoxxxicated, Escuela Grind, Indian Nightmare, Beheaded, Gatecreeper and Crypta.
What a great moment when the festival kids crowdsurfed from the corner of the stage during the Beheaded concert.
The stars of the day: Avulsed, Tankard and Pig Destroyer.
What a party with Tankard! They have to go back to the OEF without a doubt!
In the OEF each and every one of the bands are of great quality, they never disappoint.
This year we saw fewer costumes and less nudity, surely next year the tradition will be recovered.
As always, there is a wide variety of vegan and vegetarian food at very good prices. And half a liter of beer cost 2 euros.
Exquisite organization, good cleanliness and no delays.
The bands have a great time and almost always say that this is without a doubt the best festival in the world and the craziest!
For us, luckily, the fun was not over. We still had the after-party on Sunday.
Saturday was hard, we stayed until the music was turned off in the tents, it was the last party and we had to make the most of it.
Waking up on Sunday was not easy. Dress up and go to meet the last survivors at the gas station. We had a few hours to chat and have a few beers before the concerts started.
The after-party was held in the building where the merch is sold.
We were able to enjoy bands like Intoxxxicated, Hellbastard, P.L.F. and the big surprise of the night: Pig Destroyer!!!
We had a great time.
And once the concerts were over, Bilos got on stage and, together with Čurby, said goodbye to this edition. Moment in which the tears escape... Well, even if we have a broken body and an insane need to take a shower, being in the OEF is simply the best, and there is nothing sadder than ending it.
It only remains to thank Čurby and the entire Crew from the deepest of my heart, for being the best and making the best festival on the planet. And of course to Xarles, Ronny, Slave and all the people who shared these wonderful days by our side, old acquaintances and new ones.
Thank you, thank you and a thousand times thank you for all the happiness, love and passion!

Miércoles por la mañana. Despertar en medio de Bratislava tras una gran noche con Death Angel, Exodus, Testament, Sepultura y Heathen, y darte cuenta de que emprenderás la ruta hacia tu lugar favorito del mundo: Obscene Extreme: allá vamos!
4 horas nos separaban de nuestro destino. Llegamos a Trutnov alrededor de las 13h, a tiempo para aparcar, comer algo y adecentarse debidamente. Era la hora del Freak Fest!
Carreras en bidones de basura, agua con sal hasta vomitar, peleas sobre bancos, azotes en el culo... ¡¡Todo muy Freak!!
Hoy era un día especial, en las últimas ediciones el OEF ha dedicado los miércoles a ser un evento que se aleja del festival en sí. En esta ocasión teníamos el “Weird Riffs”. Pudimos disfrutar de bandas como Masz, Morbid Evils, Belzebong, Deaf Kids... Conan que nunca defraudan. Los cabezas de cartel fueron Godflesh, y el directo fue algo de otro planeta, no tengo palabras para describir la magia que se desató aquella noche, increíble! Además tuvimos el privilegio de charlar con Justin Broadrick, ¡qué gran tipo!
Jueves; amanecimos con muchas ganas. Hoy tocaban, entre muchas bandas alucinantes, Crisix, nuestros amigos catalanes y uno de los mejores directos de la actualidad.
Bandas como Heresy, Ona Snop, Phantom Corporation...
Lo de Crisix fue una fiesta sin igual, se hizo muy corto pero intenso a más no poder. El quinteto se lo pasó increíble, prueba de ello son las instantáneas tomadas durante la actuación.
Lik, Memoriam, God Macabre, Infest, Malevolent Creation... Y todas las demás bandas del día.
Una pena que lloviese desmesuradamente durante varias horas, pero esto no impidió el disfrute de los presentes.
El viernes prometía y mucho. ¡Qué gran line-up!

Ver a Benediction, Macabre, Dismember y Midnight seguidos fue algo inmenso! que 4 conciertazos para el recuerdo, me quedo sin palabras para expresar la felicidad que supuso.
En las carpas pudimos hacer un poco el tonto en la post-party de los 90 para rematar la noche, hasta que apagaron la musica y por fin nos fuimos a dormir. Que gran dias, todas y cada una de las bandas!
Sábado, y para muchos el último día del festival.
Mención especial a nuestros amigos de Intoxxxicated, Escuela Grind, Indian Nightmare, Beheaded, Gatecreeper y Crypta.
Que gran momento en el que los niños y niñas del festival hicieron crowdsurfing desde la esquina del escenario durante el concierto de Behaeaded.
Las estrellas del día: Avulsed, Tankard y Pig Destroyer.
¡Que fiesta con Tankard! tienen que volver al OEF sin duda!
En el OEF todas y cada una de las bandas son de gran calidad, nunca defraudan.
Este año vimos menos disfraces y menos desnudos, seguramente el año que viene se recupere la tradición.
Como siempre, hay una gran variedad de comida vegana y vegetariana a muy buenos precios. El medio litro de cerveza lo vas a encontrar a 2 euros.
Una organización exquisita, buena limpieza y sin retrasos.
Las bandas se lo pasan como niños y casi siempre dicen que este es sin duda el mejor festival del mundo y el más loco!
Para nosotros, por suerte, la diversión no había terminado. Aún nos quedaba la after party del domingo.
El sábado fue duro, nos quedamos hasta que apagaron la música en las carpas, era la última fiesta y había que aprovecharla al máximo.
Despertar el domingo no fue fácil. Acicalarse en la medida de lo posible e ir al encuentro de los últimos supervivientes a la gasolinera de enfrente. Teníamos unas horas para charlar y tomar unas cervezas antes de que los conciertos empezasen.
La after-party se hizo en el edificio donde se vende el merch.
Pudimos disfrutar otra vez de bandas como Intoxxxicated, Hellbastard, P.L.F. y la gran sorpresa de la noche: Pig Destroyer!!!
Lo pasamos genial.
Y una vez terminaron los conciertos Bilos se subió al escenario y junto a Čurby despidieron esta edición. Momento en el que las lágrimas se escapan... Pues aunque tengamos el cuerpo destrozado y una necesidad insana de pasar por la ducha, estar en el OEF es simplemente lo mejor, y no hay nada más triste que darlo por finalizado.
Solo queda agradecer de todo corazón a Čurby y toda la Crew, por ser los mejores y hacer el mejor festival del planeta. Y por supuesto a Xarles, Ronny, Slave y a todas las personas que compartieron estos maravillosos días a nuestro lado, a los viejos conocidos y a los nuevos.
Gracias, gracias y mil veces gracias por toda la felicidad, amor y pasión!
