Pantera & Elegant Weapons

And finally the moment has come. The tour that many of us had been waiting for years. It arrives full of controversy, but filling stadiums and sweeping wherever it goes.

Many of us, for one reason or another, the main one is age. We didn't get a chance to see Pantera live, and this tour means something so big, I don't even have words to describe it.

We were lucky enough to enjoy the shows in Dresden, Prague and Berlin.

In Prague and Berlin they were accompanied by nothing more and nothing less than the new band led by Richie Faulkner (Judas Priest), Elegant Weapons. Plus these amazing musicians: Ronnie Romero (Rainbow, MGF), Dave Rimmer (Uriah Heep) and Christopher Williams (Accept). A new super band with exceptional quality. Last month their first LP was released, an album that will not disappoint to any fan of the best Heavy Metal.

A perfect opening for Pantera, which also makes perfect sense, since Rex recorded the bass for their debut album “Horns for a Halo”.

In Prague it was their debut on stage, both, there and in Berlin they delighted us with an amazing live show. They sounded great, very close and the audience really enjoyed it. It is quite a privilege to be able to see the first live performance of a band, and this one was extraordinary, plus nothing more and nothing less than in the O2 arena in Prague!

A band that will give a lot to talk about in the future. Don't miss them on their next dates and keep track of them!

Pantera's turn. As everyone knows, Phil and Rex have been accompanied by nothing more and nothing less than Mister Zakk Wylde on strings and Charlie Benante on drums, what else could you ask for?

A canvas covers the stage with the huge Pantera logo in the middle. Images of the band (from the early days) on the side screens and the silhouettes of Dime and Vinnie freeze just before the big piece of cloth falls and the 4 musicians come out to destroy the stage.

A spectacular live show, whiplash after whiplash, people going crazy... Incredible!

The key moment, when Cemetary Gates sounds and background images of the Abbott brothers appear, after this intro they play Planet Caravan (Black Sabbath cover) acoustically while they are all sitting in front of the drums. Very moving, impossible to hold back the tears.

Impressive live shows that are making a lot of people happy.

And it is more than clear that this does not end here. Phil every night asks the audience if they would come back in case Pantera decided to play again.

So those of you who haven't been able to see them, don't worry, they'll come back for sure!

And we will be there to see it!

Thanks for making us happy!

For the fans,

For the brothers,

For legacy!
