California crossover hardcore/thrash practitioners DEAD HEAT will release their Endless Torment EP July 28th via a joint partnership with Tankcrimes and Triple B Records.
Forged in 2016 in Oxnard, California, DEAD HEAT is known for their high-energy live performances and aggressive sound that draws influence from various subgenres of thrash, punk, hardcore, and metal. DEAD HEAT's music is characterized by fast, thrashy riffs, driving rhythms, harmonious leads and intense vocals that often veer into screamed or shouted terrain. Thematically, the band delves deep into social and political issues, as well as personal struggles.
Featuring five vicious tracks, Endless Torment was recorded at Captain Quarters Studio in Ventura, California by Armand John Anthony (Cirith Ungol, Bewitcher, Night Demon) and mixed and mastered by Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Municipal Waste, Kreator) with cover art by Hayden Hall AKA Sick Slice (Devil Master, Gatecreeper).
In advance of Endless Torment’s release, No Echo is streaming the EP's titled track alongside an interview with the band.
Endless Torment will be released on LP on several color variants — including Tankcrimes exclusive Bone/Olive Crush w/ Red And Blue Splatter and Swamp Green w/ Heavy Neon Yellow Splatter plus exclusive variants from Triple B Records, Decibel Magazine, and RevHQ — and digitally.

In addition to crafting pulverizing music, the DEAD HEAT collective is notorious for their DIY approach to punk/metal culture and their involvement in the broader hardcore scene. The band members are regularly involved in booking shows and events in their local scene, as well as supporting various social and political causes.
Over the course of their six-year existence, DEAD HEAT has released several EPs, a split with New York heavyweights Mindforce and two full-length albums, including their latest LP, the critically-lauded World At War, released in 2021 on Triple B Records. Revolver named the record, “one of the best crossover hardcore albums in recent memory,” Stereogum championed an “absolute ass-beater,” of a record while Punk News elaborated, “You could say World At War absolutely rips. Or that it shreds, or fucks, or slaps. Whatever your chosen vernacular, you’d be correct. This is one to keep on the mantle with the rest of the keepsakes; provided of course that the mantle is still intact.”
The band has also toured extensively, including the BBB Europe Takeover tour, a US tour with Municipal Waste and Crowbar and a week-long tour in Japan.
