Infinity Ritual - New Zealand Doom Groove Crew Drop New Video For "Underneath" Via Doomed & Stoned

New Zealand groovy stoner rock trio Infinity Ritual have recently revealed a music video for a new song off the band's self-titled EP released last year, which reached No. 17 in the Top 40 Albums Chart and No. 5 in the NZ Albums Chart.

Titled "Underneath", this new video was produced, directed and edited by Amber Beaton and is now playing at Doomed & Stoned, who had this to about the release "Dealing mean stoner riffs is the name of the game for their extended play debut – four gritty, motoriffic tracks with an infectious charge full-steam ahead and take no prisoners along the way kind of vibe."

Fans of heavy music have a new band to keep an eye on: Taranaki's Infinity Ritual. It's hard to pin down their sound exactly, but the band says they'd describe it as a groove metal wall of noise, with solid doses of rock, doom and stoner rock.

The initial pressing of the 'Infinity Ritual' EP sold out very quickly, but has just become available again.
The EP was recorded and mixed at Rhythm Ace studios in Oakura with Sam Johnson. It was mastered by Chris Chetland at KOG, lacquers were cut by Adam Gonsalves at Telegraph Mastering in Portland USA, and the EP has been pressed on black 180 gram 45rpm 12” vinyl at Holiday Records in Auckland.

In other very cool news, Infinity Ritual has just completed a tour of the North Island, impressing people at each show. Muzic.net.nz's Kev Rowland caught their Auckland show at ding Dong Lounge (17 December 2022) , saying, "This is a band I definitely want to see again, and anyone into this style of metal needs to seek them out."
