The Mighty Sounds festival is preparing for its 17th edition, where it will once again present the best of punk rock, ska, punk, hardcore, rockabilly and related genres. The party will take place on 23-25 June 2023 at the Tábor Aeroclub airport.

Although terms such as legend or cult are often misused, in the case of Rancid, perhaps no other words can be chosen. Only a few bands have been bringing the genres of punk and ska so brilliantly for many years, and they often break into sub-genre boxes such as reggae or oi!, on the pillars of which the Mighty Sounds festival is built.

In addition to Rancid, however, a number of excellent genre names will be presented, for example The Interrupters, Enter Shikari, Black Flag, Dub FX, Hatebreed, Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls and many more. The organizers have invited, among others, Fast Food Orchestra, Hentai Corporation or Skywalker to the home stage.

Mighty Sounds is famous for its relaxed atmosphere, which is not only made up of a musical program, but also a rich offer of alternative theatre, accompanying activities and sports. Fans can therefore go to a stand-up comedy show, or play a game of netball or another game between performances of their favorites. It is already clear that the 17th edition of the Mighty Sounds festival will be exceptional.
