ESCARNIUM is one of the best new generation Brazilian death metal bands from the city of Salvador. The band was formed in 2008, released three full lenght albums since its inception and toured constantly during its existence.
They have been in Europe six times, played plenty of festivals drawing the attention of dark brutal death metal fans. Their latest album "Dysthymia" released in 2022 has this straightforward, dark and dense sound that bring back memories of the excellent early Hypocrisy albums or some of the Necrot albums as well.
Just listen to the excellent "Into the Grave" cover on the "Dysthymia" album to get a glimpse of their precise and drilling sound full of darkness and misanthropy. Bloodshed, annihilation and death – this is ESCARNIUM!!!

A band that, since their triumphant debut in 1991, "Dawn of Possession", has taken the world of extreme metal by surprise with their dissonantly menacing riffs, combinations of massive rhythmic explosions, Bob Vigna's pitch harmonic guitar playing that determines sharp changes in tempo, or vocalist Ross Dolan's deep yet comprehensible growl. A band that in its three and a half decades of existence has built a reputation as a hard-working, intensively touring and tight-as-hell live band.
A band that has lyrically focused on the dark side of humanity in all of their 11 released albums, be it religion or politics, both of which divide society to gain control over people. The band, which since 2010 has transferred to the Nuclear Blast, under whose banner they have released four albums increasing their ferocity, intensity and technical brilliance. The celebration of the OEF 25th anniversary will be as grandiose, triumphant and intense as is the live performance of this legend - IMMOLATION!!!

Because SICKRECY is not about any race in speed, technique but about real grindcore without pretensions as it was played in the 90s. Without compromise, straight to your face!!! The next massacre that will occupy the boards at Obscene Extreme festival stage is the project of extreme madmen from the land of the rising sun, MORTIFY!!!
Fucking filthy and really brutal sounding grindcore from Tokyo, Japan really doesn't have mercy. The line-up of MORTIFY includes Ryohei from Final Exit, Tak from Coffins and Adam from Sick/Tired and it is clear that this is going to be a noisy and crazy ride to the max!!!
MORTIFY has been supplying us with noise since 2017 and after two albums, several splits and shows in Japan, this will be the first MORTIFY show outside of their home country. Look forward to the thunderous sound of HM-2 buzzsaw, totally raging drums and vocals as only samurai from Japan can!!! They'll be cutting into live flesh!!!
