The band, which has been on the scene since the mid-nineties, unfortunately went silent in 2005, but to the joy of all of us, after numerous inquiries from fans, they reunited and since 2021, again as a trio, they are speeding away with their car that perfectly mixes grindcore, death metal and thrash!!!
To top it all off, DEFLESHED have gifted themselves a new long-play record "Grind Over Matter", released by the famous Metal Blade records!!! And this explosive mixture with the punch of semtex will make its first appearance on the Battlefield in 2023!!! This will be really heavy and blasting!!! DEFLESHED!!!

This return to the grindcore stage has been rumored for a while, but it's really true now!!! The legendary Czech-Budweis rumble INGROWING is reuniting with its original three-piece line-up!!! Vlakin, Pouzar and Zbyňa.
Three grinders who got together in 1995 and have made a deep furrow in grindcore culture all around the world and not only four full lenght albums, which are still sought after by fans of the style after all these years.
We at OEF didn't hesitate to invite these old gentlemen who are big fans of Obscene Extreme and the result will be one of the first INGROWING shows after their rebirth!!! Yeah fuck, there is really something to look forward to!!! Viva la INGROWING!!! Welcome back!!!

AARGH FUCK KILL, or A.F.K. This insane name was given to a quartet of crusty-looking models who decided in 2014 to start a band instead of trivially drinking and meeting in a Hamburg record store called Fischkopp!!!
Let's be glad for that, because the boys are really good at it. Punk and D-beat rhythms with a chainsaw-like guitar sound and beautifully pissed off vocals are nothing special in this style, but A.F.K. sound fucking good and convincing!!!
Check out their third and last album so far "Another Pair of Eyes" because it's a metalpunk steamroller!!! Yeah, there will be a lot of drinking and partying at the Battlefield!!!

There aren't many legendary growlers that we didn't have a chance to enjoy at Bojiště in Trutnov. However, we can already look forward to the master of guttural roars who has written the history of death metal through the debut record "From Beyond" of the cult formation MASSACRE.
The vocalist Kam Lee has put together the best live line-up of the band at the moment, which is simply crushing the world's stages into dust. We expect no weaker performance during their next year’s show at the OEF. With this new line-up, MASSACRE are very active both in the number of released material and in live concerts as well.
This year, they whirled through Europe like the infamous Florida hurricane and crushed all the concert stops with their massive heavy sound. We expect nothing less than a mighty eruption of death metal and the essence of the best that this reborn genre has to offer. This is going to be a MASSACRE!!!

Limbs and entrails with the smell of death/grind are already starting to get the right colour and aroma of obscenity in the oven, and since they lost their virginity already at OEF in 2002 and repeatedly in 2017, and since it is said that the third time is the charm, their performance is announced for our 24th volume.

HYPERDONTIA - DEATH WITH THE TEETH!!
One of the top underground death metal bands in the current scene that you don’t want to miss seeing live.
Started out in 2015 by Mustafa (guitar) and Malik (bass) long-time friends and musicians from Istanbul, Turkey around the time when Malik moved to Denmark where he met with David Mikkelsen (quitar, vocals) and Tuna (drums) from Phrenelith. They formed the international undergroung all-star group HYPERDONTIA as all the members had many previous experience from bands like Undergang, Phrenelith, Burial Invocation, Diabolizer, Wormridden, etc. Their 2018 debut album "Nexus of Teeth" was based on Mustafa’s Morbid Angel-like riffing, Tuna’s hypersonic drums and David’s guttural growl creating Incantation atmosphere. The album was released by Dark Descent Records on CD, Me Saco un Ojo Records on vinyl and Extremely Rotten Productions on cassette. The album was a blast in the scene as it appeals to death metal fans that like the cavernous, murky records of Incantation or technical quitar mastery of Morbid Angel or Immolation-like dissonant quitar patterns.
That debut album gave the band such attention in the death metal underground that they added a second quitar of Mathias (Sulphurous, Taphos) in 2018 for numerous live shows that soon exceeded the time schedule of David busy with Undergang and other projects. From 2019, Mathias took over vocal duties and the band started to become very active in releasing new material: three singles, two compilations, EP, split and their second highly acclaimed album „Hideous Entity“ in just three years. HYPERDONTIA is simply one of the leading death metal entity of the current underground scene. Very intensive music parade full of misery, death and decay – this is HYPERDONTIA!!!

And some are even returning, which is the case of the grindy ANARCHUS, who return to Obscene Extreme after five years!!!
One of the oldest grindcore bands on the North American continent, they were formed in 1987 and since then, their music hasn't changed, maybe they've just become better masters of their instruments!!!
ANARCHUS play really straight forward grindcore, no frills and as raging as only American bands can!!! Life in a country ruled by corruption and narco cartels is not be real fun!!! This will not be a white line fever but a grindcore hell!!!

CAHNALET is an Argentine trio playing a strange but very catchy mix of extreme styles like crust, hardcore or death metal, led by front woman Brenda Vomitory, who has a voice that is probably cared by rasp!!! Rumors going by, that this growler is teaching this kind of singing in Argentina... wow!!!
CAHNALET have been playing since 2014, but all members have been active in the extreme underground scene since the early 90's, so don't expect any youngsters. Check out their latest album "Evil Goes" and enjoy the dance of evil in the moshpit of the Obscene Extreme!!!

Here they will cut into rotten flesh!!! Mexican butchers DISGORGE are coming to Obscene Extreme!!! The band that we have been trying to get to the Battlefield for years, but so far for various reasons it hasn't worked, will come to butcher us in 2023!!!
After all, the last time this bunch of bloodthirsty Mexicans were in Europe was sometime in 2008 and they only played at OEF during the American leg in 2013!!! Of course, everyone here knows DISGORGE, but it doesn't hurt to remember that their really sick sound comes from the depths of the 80s and 90s when Mortician, Carcass or Grave ruled.
Everything like this is in DISGORGE's music and even more!!! Just listen to their rotten opuses "Chronic Corpora Infest" or "Forensick" and it's immediately clear who leads the rusty scalpels here!!! DISGORGE have announced a new record later this year, so there will definitely be something to look forward to at OEF 2023!!! This is going to be a fucking bloody piece of meat!!!

Does it happen to you too that after a hangover, you just need pure broth, no other ingredients, just pure broth? That's exactly what GORGATRON, a quartet from North Dakota, delivers.
No modern shit, but pure old-school death metal that keeps the genre alive for generations to come. They embarked on their journey in 2005 and after three albums, they have just unleashed an EP "Agony Reborn", a very apt title!
The guys love classic gore and zombie themes and it will be their debut at OEF. They will definitely give their best, so make sure you remember this defiantly sounding name, GORGATRON!!!
