Like HELLRIPPER could sound like the legendary "Kill em All" album if Metallica had heard Bathory before and we're not kidding!!! The rock'n'roll energy of their albums and shows is unbelievable!!!
It's no coincidence that HELLRIPPER got noticed by the famous Peaceville Records, signed them and released their latest record " The Affair of the Poisons". And when we thought of the program for this OEF evening, HELLRIPPER were one of the first to come to mind, because like them, we are same old school maniacs. So put on your battle vest and your bullet belt and get to the sabbath. Speed black sabbath on the battlefield!!!

Let's open the encyclopedia of death metal now. What is the first band's name that comes to your mind under the letter S? Who have never failed, betrayed their style, changed their logo, said NO to a request for an autograph or a photo?
Who have't succumbed to commercialism, turned their coat, succumbed to stardom or stopped crushing the stages, be it with new production or, more importantly, with old hits listening to which many of us in our teens swore allegiance to death metal?
For 35 years this band has been breaking our hearts and necks in pogo!!! As Čurby himself says, SUFFO is never enough! And that's why time and time again - SUFFOREVER!!!
Hat-trick by Sweden's M:40!!!
Hat-trick! Or maybe the third time is the charm? M:40 from Sweden celebrated their 20th anniversary this year. Thanks to the releases of their albums on domestic labels, it is probably not necessary to introduce this band at length.
Vigorous hardcore/crust that won't leave you unaffected. Crust passages alternate with hardcore parts. A combination that in the case of this band fits pretty well.
A lot of time has passed since their last OEF show. In the meantime, they put out a well-received album called "Arvsynd" and a 10-inch "Dödens Bleka Häst" as this year's last release so far. Both releases were done in cooperation with labels from the Czech Republic.

Boom!!! Another hit from a small country in the west of Europe, Belgium is a special not only by its name, TRAVØLTA!!! How crazy do you have to be to give yourself a name like that?
The quartet, which was formed in 2015 and produces a really short, fast and loud power violence style combined with political sarcasm in the lyrics, is very much to our liking and that's why we invited TRAVØLTA to Obscene Extreme 2023!!! Fans of such bands as The Kill, Rotten Sound or Assuck will snort with joy.
TRAVØLTA will be at OEF for the very first time and until then this quartet is planning to release a new album called "Disco Violence Up Yours", so we all have something to look forward to. So Johnny is going disco dancing, but we expect TRAVØLTA in full Power Violence!!!
THE BANNER OF SPEED METAL MANIA IS STILL FLYING!!!
This band reminded us where our roots are!!! Four German guys, calling themselves VULTURE, really take us back to the eighties, when speed and thrash metal ruled the world and we devoured every new record.
VULTURE use all the classic elements of these styles, fierce riffing, aggressive vocals, machine gun double kicks or great guitar harmonies that even the classics of the genre would be not ashamed of!!!
The drive of their music including the top metal look is simply unmissable and makes VULTURE one of the leading bands of Europe in this old school style!!! And we just want them in Wednesday's OEF "Old School Metal Forever" program because that's clearly where they belong!!! Here the hammer will fall on the anvil and it will be fucking HEAVY!!!
