PSOA2016, New Bookings: OBITUARY, GRUESOME, IRON REAGAN, ASOMVEL

Today Party San crew present you four new bookings. In case you have not purchased your ticket yet please feel free to do so right here: www.cudgel.de

  • We are more than proud to present you the booking of the death metal veterans OBITUARY. The band will once again play our festival so every true death metal maniac should be watching their show. OBITUARY are one the pioneers of the death metal genre so we think it´s needless to introduce this band any further. Praise the legend!

A plethora of who's who of old school death metal have collaborated to keep the music of the legendary Death, well, alive. GRUESOME! If you've heard the word “Leprosy” thrown around when reading up on GRUESOME, it is absolutely true. Rather than working to pay homage to the full breath and length of Death's illustrious, multifaceted discography, the band works to contain its sound to the the first two releases, Scream Bloody Gore and more importantly, Leprosy. GRUESOME is Matt Harvey (Exhumed, Dekapitator, ex-Exodus), Robin Mazen (Derketa), Gus Rios (ex-Resurrection, ex-Malevolent Creation) and Daniel Ganzales (Possessed).

A decade after his death (two since he left office), former president Ronald Reagan continues to be a subject of many a musical effigy, but it's been a while since the Thrashcore community had him as its muse. Enter IRON REAGAN, a Richmond band composed of members from notable crossover thrash groups like Municipal Waste, Cannabis Corpse and Mammoth Grinder, who are the jellybean cowboy's latest invokers. While their sound places them as political Thrash/Crossover in the vein of Suicidal Tendencies or Slayer, IRON REAGAN's lyrical tendencies skew nihilstic and violent with a dash of odd humor. You need to see them live on stage!

ASOMVEL are a rocking Heavy Metal band from the UK formed back in 1993 by Lenny Robinson (gui) and Jay Jay Winter (bass/voc - died in a car crash in 2010). With a new vocalist Conan, ASOMVEL released their 2nd album “Knuckle Duster” back in 2013. This is overall, great traditional British Heavy Metal (Tank, Motörhead, Venom) at its bombastic best. Thunderous drums and bass, blistering guitar solos and powerful vocals, all guaranteed to keep your head banging.
