Arizona death metal newcomers GATECREEPER have announced their savage debut album Sonoran Depravation. Having devastated the underground since their formation less than three years ago, GATECREEPER now unleashes their first full-length, produced by Ryan Bram at Homewrecker Studios and mixed by Kurt Ballou (Converge, Nails, Black Breath) at God City Studios. Sonoran Depravation tears and chugs through more than thirty minutes of crusty, doom-soaked death metal at its most infectious and uncompromising with a massive sound that calls to mind the classic Swedish buzz-saw attack of Dismember and Grave mixed with the impeccable groove of Obituary and Bolt Thrower. Die stilistisch interessante Schnittmenge der hörbar begeisterten Formation um Brüllbox Alex zitiert auf originelle Weise etablierte Acts wie At The Gates, Hypocrisy und Edge Of Sanity. Frühe Arch Enemy können ebenfalls als Querverweis herangezogen werden.

Este otoño Imperial State Electric regresan con un nuevo lanzamiento. Nicke Andersson y compañía han estado girando sin parar desde que sacaran su aclamado disco “Honk Machine”. La pregunta obvia es donde ha sacado tiempo la banda para encontrar la inspiración y energía necesaria con la que componer este disco.

El Brutal Death no está hecho para estómagos frágiles, pero en este caso nos encontramos con una banda que añade elementos progresivos a su enferma brutalidad. Defeated Sanity es ese grupo que cumple los deseos de los más insaciables fanáticos del metal extremo. Se formaron allá por 1994 en Alemania con el objetivo de liquidar a todo aquel que se cruzase con ellos. A día de hoy han grabado 5 álbumes y muchos otros lanzamientos (demos, splits, recopilatorios…).

In September Crisix will embark on Europen tour with Suicidal Angels, Skull Fist and Evil Invaders and will return to Spanish stages with 3 dates during the tour, on which Crisix will co-headline with Suicidal Angels.

The first single, “Show Me A Leader”, premieres via radio stations worldwide. “Lyrically, it reflects the frustrations that a lot of people are feeling with the current state of the world,” admits Myles Kennedy about the new single. “The world is looking for trustworthy effective leadership and not this undignified dog and pony show that’s really made a mockery of our system.” “It’s indicative of our process,” Mark Tremonti adds. “Myles had this guitar intro that I loved, and I had the chorus. We put them together. The words call out for a proper leader.”
