This is the motto of Portuguese Metal pioneers MOONSPELL, who just came back from an extensive tour through Europe. After their successful album release of the Dark Metal masterpiece Extinct earlier this year and chart entries all over Europe, MOONSPELL are hitting the road again in the US! XANDRIA’s new EP is called Fire & Ashes and it is going to be released worldwide on July 31st via Napalm Records! Have a glance at the wonderful cover art, that was designed by Felipe Machado, known also for his works with Rage, Blind Guardian, Iron Savior and Rhapsody of Fire, to name a few.
There are three brand new songs on the EP, which are “Voyage of the Fallen”, “Unembraced” & “In Remembrance”. In addition to those tracks, the band decided to re-record two all time favorites of XANDRIA’s fans, just the way they think the songs should sound like in 2015. These songs are: “Ravenheart” (originally recorded for the album Ravenheart in 2004) and “Now & Forever” (India, 2005).
XANDRIA talked about recording select cover songs that might be included in this EP, the first one is Sonata Arctica’s classic “Don`t Say A Word” and as for the second, XANDRIA said the following:
“During the photoshoot for the Sacrificium record we were digging through our music libraries to find something appropriate for getting us in the right mood. At some point we got stuck with an artist every one of us had a crush on someone with and a story to tell about back then from our teenager days in the earlier 90ies. We straight away started joking about doing a XANDRIA version of this particular song, but really forgot about it until the discussion of doing some remake for an EP came up again. With the biggest respect we started this operation of transforming one of our all time faves, a real classic, into a XANDRIA hymn. Well, we think we quite did an “okay” job and on July the 31st it`s your turn to decide whether you`ve got a favorite song or not ;-): “Fire & Ashes” will contain our intonation of Meat Loaf’s “I would do anything for love (but I won’t do that)”. This one is for you! Enjoy!”

ROYAL THUNDER have debuted the video for “Time Machine,” from their recently released album, Crooked Doors, via Rolling Stone.
The video was directed by J.P. Bradburn who also worked with the band on their video for “Blue.” NPR said of the song, “’Time Machine’ moves with the stubborn resolve of a tightrope walker on a windy day: The song heaves along with intertwining guitars and the soulful vocal of Parsonz, who seems more aware of her dynamic abilities than ever.”
The Atlanta-quartet is currently on a Southeastern tour with Wilco, playing this evening at the Bayou Music Center in Houston. ROYAL THUNDER’s headlining tour kicks off May 28 in New Orleans and will include a brief run of shows with Halestorm and Rival Sons.

"Coma Ecliptic" was recorded in January and February of 2015 with BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME producer Jamie King at Basement Recordings in North Carolina. Drums and piano were recorded with King and Kris Hilbert at the Fidelitorium. Final mixing and mastering was placed in the capable hands of Jens Bogren (Opeth, Katatonia, Amon Amarth, Devin Townsend) at Fascination Street Studios in Sweden.
BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME began their journey in the year 2000 in North Carolina. Over the past 15 years, they have released seven full-length albums, an EP, a live album, a covers album, and a blu-ray/DVD. Their current lineup has been consistent since 2005, and they have taken full advantage of a stable and productive group of musicians. Touring the US and China meanwhile!
Danish thrash battalion, ARTILLERY, will return to the US this Friday to kick off the United Legions Tour 2015. Set to initiate in Los Angeles, California, the trek will trample sixteen stages including an appearance at RK NYDM Spring Bash in Cudahy, Wisconsin before wrapping up on April 27th in Salt Lake City, Utah. ARTILLERY will be joined by Striker, VX36, Potential Threat and Dahlmers Realm.

ARTILLERY was forged in the Copenhagen suburb of Taastrup, Denmark in 1982 by Michael and Morten Stützer. La banda holandesa de Thrash Death, Legion of the Damned, serán los encargados de encabezar esta nueva edición del Festival itinerante Thrash Inmortal, que celebrará su tercera edición el próximo mes de Mayo, junto a otras bandas como los alemanes Duts Bolt y los catalanes Aggression.
Serán tres fechas donde Legion of the Damned estarán en nuestros escenarios en directo, presentando su último trabajo de estudio “Ravenous Plague”, editado a principios de 2014 por Napalm Records y del que ya pudimos ver un pequeño retazo en su anterior visita, abriendo la Gira de Sepultura.
Dust Bolt estarán presentando su segundo álbum de estudio Awake the Riot que vio la luz el año pasado a través de Napalm Records. Con su juventud son una banda con un sonido clásico, pero con la frescura de la música más actual. En los ocho años que llevan en activo, pueden presumir de ganar el Wacken Metal Battle alemán lo que le llevó a actuar en el afamado festival en 2011. En 2013 obtuvieron el galardón de “Mejor álbum 2012” y “Mejor artista revelación” de los premios Metal Hammer 2013. Les hemos visto de gira junto a Obituary, Rotting Repugnancy y Mpire of Evil y en el prestigioso festival Eindhoven Metal Meeting del 2014.
Aggression, después de casi dos años de inactividad, vuelve a la actividad. La banda catalana de Thrash Metal vuelve con más fuerza que nunca y con ganas de agradar a sus antiguos fans y las nuevas generaciones de thrasers. Practican un Thrash Metal técnico e implacable, a un nivel sobresaliente. Poseen dos álbumes en el mercado bajo el sello discográfico Xtreem Music con gran éxito de crítica y con Pol Luengo, su guitarra y vocalista, como una de sus figuras más destacadas en la escena Thrash Metal nacional.
Por último, comunicamos que el concierto de Zaragoza del sábado 9 de Mayo se cambia al Oasis Club Teatro (Basilio Boggiero, 28) por razones operativas. Las entradas adquiridas para el anterior recinto serán válidas para esta nueva ubicación.
