Feine Sahne Fischfilet announce their new album "Alles Glänzt" for May 12, 2023. In the summer, the band from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania goes on a big "Komm mit aufs Boot" open-air tour.
The last album by Feine Sahne Fischfilet was released five years ago, with which the group from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania reached number 3 in the charts for the first time and then made the so-called "großen Durchbruch". That was unusual for a band that was formed in 2004 by some school friends in the provinces, primarily to get something going in their immediate community, not to whine and wait for others to do something for you, but doing yourself in every way right now, privately, politically and otherwise.
In the following years they toured constantly, first in the youth centers of their home region, then across all clubs and self-government centers in the country and finally became regular guests at the most important festivals in the German-speaking world. Even at their own concerts, the halls and open-air locations kept getting bigger. Feine Sahne Fischfilet embraced her listeners when the going got tough. And it was actually always on fire. Everything was there: disillusionment, drunkenness, fun, rush, reason, riot and excess. And because the band repeatedly got involved and insulted politically, trouble is pre-programmed to this day and often permanent. Nazis, AfD, but also local and national rights of all stripes keep putting obstacles in the way of the band. "Alles auf Rausch" was the name of one of the concert tours in this phase and Feine Sahne Fischfilet were on the road in the same way until they took a longer break at the end of 2019. Sometimes they flew, sometimes they fell hard on your face. But after every high comes the hangover...
All this madness, all this ambivalence, all the good and all the bad days, that's what the songs on their new album "Alles Glänzt" are about, great songs between emotion and heaviness. And one of the special strengths of Feine Sahne Fischfilet comes into its own on the new work: they keep crossing musical boundaries and thus make their uptempo punk rock a multifaceted listening pleasure that not only moves the legs but also the hearts of their fans.
The 12 new songs from "Alles glänzt" were produced by Philipp "Philsen" Hoppen, who was known and celebrated for his producer activities for Die Ärzte, Kraftklub and K.I.Z.
Shortly after the release of "Alles glitzert" Feine Sahne Fischfilet go on the big "Komm mit aufs Boot" open air tour. The advance sale has already started.
