Cliteater was formed in Netherlands in 2002. They play a mix between Grindcore and Porngrind, but all the lyrics are about clits and sex.

They’ve released 6 studio albums, all of which have references to other bands, for example; Scream Bloody Clit (Scream Bloody Gore – Death) or The Great Southern Clitkill (The Great Southern Trendkill – Pantera).

This sixth full-length is about a Napalm Death record, renamed to From Enslavement To Clitoration.

The introduction is intense and short, but the followong tracks aren’t much longer, all the songs have one or two minutes of duration. There are many rhythm changes, slow and heavy riffs are mixed with fast tempo cuts.

In the middle of the record, there are songs like “Tribbing Mania” which put in samples of wailing women and Death’N‘Roll riffs. Other songs are noisier, with more tempo-breaks and violent guitar parts.

Towards the end there are more “Grind N Roll” tracks, breakdowns again and an amazing bass sound, heavy and distorted. Even a guitar solo can be found in “Semen Route”, the last songs complete the album being almost perfect. Another cool track is “Positive Aspects Of Collective Chaos VI” - practically it‘s just noise but it‘s funny.

The best surprise comes at the end in the shape of an Indie song, “Total Clitoration”. Here, a king tell us how he conquered the throne eating pussies - awesome. If you like that kind of stories you will love this last track.

Final conclusion: If you don’t like Grindcore, go away, this won’t be hilarious for you. From Enslavement To Clitoration is different to the others Cliteater records, they’ve taken their style to a new level with this. Let’s pray for a great future fort he band, for new songs and more cliteating!
