Bordeaux, France-based psychedelic stoner doom trio MARS RED SKY made their way to North America on a run of live dates last Summer that ran from August 19th in Boston, Massachusetts through September 3rd in Seattle, Washington. The fifteen-date trek included stops at The Obelisk's All-Dayer at Saint Vitus Bar in Brooklyn, New York, Doom Over Toronto Festival at The Smiling Buddha in Toronto, Ontario and Psycho Las Vegas At The Hard Rock Hotel And Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. All in support of their latest album : 'Apex III (Praise For The Burning Soul)' full-length which Decibel magazine described as '“… this is doom nouveau, outfitted with chiming '60's psych-pop vocals. Heavy, yet catchy and unflinchingly cavalier.”
Drummer Matgaz comments : " Just back from 16 dates and in as many days in the USA and Canada, with our heads up and a big smile on our face after this harrassant journey along the Atlantic and Pacific sides ! An indecent number of swallowed kilometers , we resisted the gas station food and other dubious burritos, but mostly we found super receptive and enthusiastic audiences to our Heavy Psychedelic Rock in major American and Canadian cities. Psycho Fest in Las Vegas was remarkably killer ! . Now that the door is ajar , it's time to think about the next trip across the Atlantic next year. We ‘ll touring Europe up to the end of the year, stronger than ever ! Keep it low and wavy ! »

"Tout juste de retour de 16 dates en autant de jours aux USA et Canada, on ressort avec le sourrire et la tête haute de ce périple harrassant le long des cotes atlantique et pacifique ! Un nombre indécent de kilomètres avalé, on a résisté à la gas station food et autres burritos douteux, mais surtout on a trouvé des publics super receptifs et enthousiastes à notre Heavy Rock Psychedelic dans les grandes villes Américaine et Canadienne. On notera un passage remarqué au Psycho Fest de Vegas.
Maintenant que la porte est entrouverte, il est temps de penser à la prochaine virée outre atlantique l'année prochaine. Mais en attendant c'est en Europe que ça passe jusqu'à la fin de l'année, plus solide que jamais !
