Thrash metal is clearly thriving in Spain!!! Another great band or rather project in the thrash genre from this monarchy is HOLYCIDE. A band that was founded by our long time friend and great supporter of Obscene Extreme festival, Dave Rotten from the famous Avulsed!!!
Back in 2004, Dave surrounded himself with people with whom he started working on a thrash metal project, but as it happens, the line-up changed many times and HOLYCIDE had more than one hiatus, however, to this day they still play high quality and fucking catchy thrash carnage, which you can hear on their recordings and with which HOLYCIDE will come to Battlefield!!! This surely will be a razor-sharp and intense in-your-face performance!!!

Since their first album "Emetic Cult" they have clearly shown what style fidelity means and their grindcore with punk feeling is simply unmistakable!!!
Likewise, the bloodied face of Lugubrious and the doctor suits of the other four pathologists are the hallmarks with which HAEMORRHAGE showed us an incredible show at OEF back in 2001, which we still remember to this day!!! Another representative of thrash metal carnage at OEF is Spanish four-piece ANGELUS APATRIDA!!! A band that appeared on the scene like a hurricane in 2006 with their debut album "Evil Unleashed" and since then they have only moved forward.
Here we are dealing with an aggressive sounding mix of old and new school thrash metal and a modern sound and great playing skills!!! ANGELUS APATRIDA's music is as sharp as the blades of the Spanish Inquisition!!!
So it's no coincidence that the band was spotted by the famous Century Media, offered the shocked thrashers a contract and since 2009 they have been the home stable of ANGELUS APATRIDA!!! A bunch that is not afraid of new challenges, does things their own way and definitely has what it takes to get your thrash engine revved up!!! This will be ANGELUS APATRIDA on Obscene Extreme!!!
