For the last 10 years you have been used to a special Wednesday OEF programme. In 2024, the crew are unfortunately not able to prepare a genre party in the form you're used to at OEF. So, they've been wondering what to do... and they thought they'd try something really unique. Namely the FESTIVAL OF ALL RIFFS...
Plain and simple, a mishmash of everything we've enjoyed at OEF over the decades featuring the representatives of every possible extreme styles you could ever see at Obscene Extreme!!! On this day you'll have a chance to check out a brilliant grindcore set, a perfect thrash slaughter, an ultra quality death metal carnage, devastating slam, old school metal as fuck, frantic noise performance or even properly sharp-edged punk and that's not all!!!
The bands are filling up for this exceptional programme and we will of course announce them gradually!!! Be on alert!!!
SATAN BLESS US!!! It's not really common to see a band playing black metal at Obscene Extreme, but here is no other way!!! England had their Venom, Sweden Bathory and Japan SABBAT!!! Yes, SABBAT, a trio of Japanese blasphemers, playing since 1984 will come to the Battlefield!!! Absolutely legendary and essential band when it comes to traditional black/thrash metal, but SABBAT mix their black music artfully with elements of death and heavy metal, all in the best tradition of old school style!!! Moreover, SABBAT are an incredibly active band with more than 200(!!!) recordings to their credit.
You, who don't know SABBAT, should definitely listen to their records and dive into the unholy Blacking thrash of this evil trio!!! This will once again be a legendary performance that the Battlefield will experience. SABBAT will be one of the headliners of Wednesday's OEF program, FESTIVAL OF ALL RIFFS, where they will be unmissable with their dark riffs!!! Let's go to SABBAT!!! HAIL SATAN!!!
GET YOUR EARMUFFS READY!!!
SEVEN MINUTES OF FEAR. For fans of the hardest extreme, already a familiar enough name. Noise destruction, which was created by the influence of two major noisecore bands Seven Minutes of Nausea and Fear of God in 2012, when only the drummer was able to play a bit and the rest could not do anything except hard posing!!!
And according to the words of the protagonists themselves, this has not changed to this day, but SEVEN MINUTES OF FEAR really know how to make noise and the list of their recordings and gigs around the world only confirms it!!!
This Slovakian four-piece has already played at Obscene Extreme and, to be honest, their production in seven minutes decently cleaned our ears!!! And it definitely will be the same this time!!!
