The Fusionsfest IX (de)
Am 11. Januar hatten wir das Vergnügen, an der neunten Ausgabe des "Fusion Fest" in "Glad House", Cottbus teilzunehmen.
Nicht mehr und nicht weniger als 12 Bands an einem Tag, eine perfekte Mischung aus Metal und Hardcore.
Seit der Ankunft war alles auf Rädern. Wir kamen um unsere Arbeit für Century Media Records zu tun. Gleich zu Beginn hatten wir das Vergnügen die Invictus Crew zu treffen. Festivalorganisatoren die uns als Teil ihres Teams behandelten und auf diese Weise alle unsere Bedürfnisse erfüllten; arbeiten ist eine Freude.
Wir möchten auch über bestimmte Punkte sprechen, die unserer Meinung nach, für den Abend wichtig sind. Getränke zu einem vernünftigen Preis, einfacher Zugang und familiäre Atmosphäre. Das Augenmerk liegt aus einer Nonprofit Organisationen, zum Beispiel: Pro-Vegan und Kampf gegen Krebs, was wir vom Static Age Magazine zu 100% unterstützen.
Etwas das unsere Aufmerksamkeit auf sich zog, waren die Kunstwerke neben dem Merch mit verschiedenen künstlerischen Eindrücken. Später konnten wir feststellen, dass sie von Glönn (Gitarrist von Verderver) stammten. Sie können seine Arbeit hier sehen. Es lohnt sich wirklich.
Die jungen Art of Derangement eröffneten den Tag. Eine Band aus Cottbus, sehr jung, die Metal und Hardcore mischt. Wir werden ihre nächsten Schritte aufmerksam verfolgen, weil sie wirklich gut sind.
Dann eine angenehme Überraschung. Die Reunion der 1997 gegründeten und 2001 aufgelösten Hardcore-Band Submit aus Senftenberg. Dies war ihre erste Live-Show nach ihrer Wiederkehr und sie sind zurückgekehrt, um uns viel Krieg zu bereiten.
Dann belebte Burn Down Eden den Nachmittag mit ihren gut ausgeführten melodischen Death Metal. Kraft und tolle Performance, es ist immer wieder eine Freude, dieses Live-Quintett zu genießen.
Angstbreaker und ihr Hardcore Punk ließen den Wahnsinn unter den Gästen immer größer werden. Mosh Pits, Stagediving ... (was die ganze Nacht nicht aufhörte).
Was zu Belief zu sagen ist, sie spielen erst seit kurzer Zeit und sie machen es so gut, dass sie die Bühne bereits mit Bands wie "Judge", "Battery" oder "Break Away" geteilt haben. Seien Sie sehr aufmerksam, weil sie weit kommen werden. "Farawell Records" habt sie bereits unter Vertrag. Das sagt mehr als genug.
Myra aus Leipzig mischt Thrash und Hardcore mit einem modernen Touch. Wir wollten sie unbedingt endlich live sehen und es war eine angenehme Überraschung. Eine Band der wir folgen werden und die wir hoffentlich bald wieder live sehen werden.
Mit einer gewaltigen Kraft kamen Bitter Verses. Ich kann den Vergleich mit "Walls Of Jericho" nicht umgehen, da die Stärke und Attitude von Caro uns an Candace denken ließ. Eine großartige Live-Performance voller Energie und Leidenschaft.
Und jetzt ist es Zeit, über diejenigen zu sprechen, die unserer bescheidenen Meinung nach die Könige des Abends waren.
Was für eine unglaubliche Liveshow!
Schnallen Sie sich an. Verderver sind da!!!
Wie können wir sie beschreiben ...? Ich werde ihre Definition von Facebook übernehmen, welche ich für richtig halte: Dance Death Metal !! Was für eine Party Ladies and Gentleman. Sie haben alle zum Tanzen gebracht, von der ersten bis zur letzten Reihe. Diese Kerle bewegen ihre Ärsche mehr als Gelee in einem Erdbeben.
Sie warfen sich vor die Besucher, spielten auf dem Boden ... Wir halluzinierten mit dieser Band.
Sie haben alles: eine beeindruckende Bühnenperformance, der Körper ist komplett schwarz bemalt, mit Ausnahme des Gesichts, das weiß ist.
Die musikalische Qualität ist großartig und sie sind wunderbare Menschen. (Wir hatten das Vergnügen, nach der Show mit ihnen zu sprechen und sie bestätigten dies.)
All unsere Unterstützung für sie, damit sie wachsen und ihren Wahnsinn und ihre festliche Seele in den Rest der Welt zu tragen, denn dies kann nicht auf Deutschland beschränkt bleiben.
Ihr erstes Album wurde gerade veröffentlicht, verpasst es nicht!
Die nächste Band braucht keine Präsentation. Sie haben eine verdiente Stellung unter den Größen des Hardcore und dies hat eine einfache Erklärung: Sie sind gewaltig! Risk It. Sie enttäuschen nie, eine verheerende und mächtige Live-Entladung. Zögern Sie nicht, sie live zu sehen.
Deserted Fear ist ein anderer Name, der ebenfalls keiner Präsentation bedarf. Wir werden nie müde sein, diese exzellente Band live zu genießen. Old School Death Metal direkt aus der Tiefe deiner Eingeweide.
Sie spielen jeden Sommer auf den größten europäischen Festivals und nehmen an so großen Touren mit Bands wie „At The Gates“, „Obituary“, „Mantar“ oder „Heaven Shall Burn“ teil.
Sie sind da, wo sie sind, weil sie so hart gearbeitet haben und zeigen, dass sie es verdienen. Eine Band, die niemals enttäuscht. Großartig als Musiker und als Menschen.
Und was könnte besser sein, um die Nacht zu beenden, als eine letzte Hardcore Explosion? Offside sprang mit großer Energie auf die Bühne und beendeten die Nacht auf die bestmögliche Weise.
Ein unvergesslicher Abend voll guter Musik, wunderbaren Menschen und familiärer Atmosphäre.

The Fusion fest IX (english)
On January 11 we had the pleasure of attending the ninth edition of "The Fusion Fest" in "Glad House", Cottbus.
Nothing more and nothing less than 12 bands in one afternoon, a perfect mix between metal and hardcore.
Since the arrival everything was on wheels. We arrived prepared to do our work from Century Media Records and from the minute one we had the pleasure of meeting the Invictus Crew; Festival organizers, who treated us as part of their team, and provided each and every one of our needs, this way; working it's a pleasure.
We also want to talk about certain points that we believe are important about the evening; drinks at a reasonable price, easy access, and familiar atmosphere. Emphasize on a nonprofit organizations, for example: pro-vegans and fighters against cancer which from Static Age Magazine we support 100%.
Something that caught our attention was a mural next to the merch with various artistic impressions. Later we could know that they were from Glönn (Guitarist of Verderver), you can see his work here, really worth it.
The young guys from Art of Derangement opened. A band from Cottbus, that mix metal and hardcore, we will be attentive to their next steps, because they look really good.
Then a pleasant surprise, the meeting of Submit, Hardcore band from Senftenberg formed in 1997 and dissolved in 2001, this was their first live-show after the meeting and they have returned to give us so much war.
Then Burn Down Eden enlivened the afternoon with his well-executed melodic Death Metal. Strength and great staging, always a pleasure to enjoy this live quintet.
Angstbreaker and their Hardcore Punk made the madness begin to be greater among the attendees. Mosh Pits, stage-diving ... (which didn't stop in all the night).
What to say about Belief, they have been playing for a short time and they are doing so well that they have already shared the stage with bands like "Judge", "Battery", "Break Away" ... Be very attentive because they are going to go far. "Farawell Records" have already signed with them and this says more than enough.
Myra, coming from Leipzig, mixing Thrash and Hardcore with a modern twist. We really wanted to see them finally live, and it was a pleasant surprise, a band that we will follow closely and that we hope to see live again very soon.
With a huge force came Bitter Verses, I can not avoid the comparison with "Walls Of Jericho", since the strength and attitude of Caro made us think of Candace. A great live performance, full of energy and passion.
And now it's time to talk about those who in our humble opinion were the kings of the evening.

How can we describe them ...? I will transcribe their definition from Facebook, which I think is correct: Dance Death Metal !! What a party Ladies and Gentleman. They put everyone there dancing, from the first to the last row. This guys move their asses more than jelly in an earthquake.
They threw themselves to the public, played on the floor ... We freaked out with this band.
They have it all: an impressive stage performance: the body is painted completely black except a triangle on their face in the part of the mouth that is white.
The musical quality is sublime and they are wonderful people. (We had the pleasure of talking to them after the show and they confirmed the data.)
All our support to them to grow and carry their madness and festive soul for the rest of the world, because this cannot be limited to Germany.
Their first album has just been published, don't miss it!
The next band does not need presentation, they are becoming such a big name in the Hardcore scene and this has a very simple explanation: They are huge! Risk It. They never disappoint, a devastating and powerful live-discharge. Do not hesitate to see them live.
Deserted Fear is another name that doesn't need presentation either. We will never get tired of enjoying this excellent band live. Old School Death Metal straight to the depths of your guts.
They play every summer in the biggest European festivals and take part in such a big tours with bands like “At The Gates”, “Obituary”, “Mantar”, “Heaven Shall Burn”… this just ratifies it.
They are where they are because they have worked up so hard and show that they deserve it. A band that never disappoints. Great as musicians and as people.
And what could be better to close the night than a last Hardcore discharge? Offside jumped on the stage with great energy and culminated the night in the best possible way.
An evening to remember, full of good music, wonderful people and family atmosphere.

El pasado 11 de enero tuvimos el placer de asistir a la novena edición del “The Fusion Fest” en “Glad House”, Cottbus.
Nada más y nada menos que 12 bandas en una sola tarde, una mezcla perfecta entre metal y hardcore.
desde la llegada todo fué sobre ruedas, llegamos preparados para hacer nuestro trabajo de la mano de Century Media Records y desde el minuto uno tuvimos el placer de encontrarnos con la Invictus Crew; organizadores del festival, que nos trataron como a parte de su equipo, y nos facilitaron todas y cada una de nuestras necesidades, así da gusto trabajar.
Además citar ciertos puntos que creemos importantes sobre la velada; las bebidas a un precio más que razonable, fácil acceso, y ambiente familiar. Hincapié en organizaciones sin ánimo de lucro de ámbito vegano y de lucha contra el cancer, que desde Static Age Mag apoyamos al 100%.
Algo que nos llamó mucho la atención fue un mural al lado del merch con diversas impresiones artísticas. Más tarde pudimos saber que eran obra Glönn (Guitarrista de Verderver), podéis ver su obra aquí, de verdad merece la pena.
Las descargas en directo fueron brutales, abrieron los jóvenes Art of Derangement. Una banda procedente de Cottbus, muy jóvenes, que mezclan el metal y el hardcore, estaremos atentos a sus próximos pasos, porque pintan muy bien.
A continuación una grata sorpresa, la reunión de Submit, banda de Hardcore procedente de Senftenberg formada en 1997 y disuelta en 2001, este fué su primer directo tras la reunión y han vuelto para dar mucha guerra.
A continuación Burn Down Eden amenizaron la tarde con su bien ejecutado Death Metal melódico. Fuerza y gran puesta en escena, siempre un gusto disfrutar de este quinteto en vivo.
Angstbreaker y su Hardcore Punk hicieron que la locura comenzase a ser mayor entre los asistentes. Mosh Pits, stage-diving... (que no pararon en toda la noche).
Qué decir de Belief, llevan poco tiempo tocando y lo están haciendo tan bien que ya han compartido escenario con bandas como “Judge”, “Battery”, “Break Away”...Estad muy atentos porque van a llegar muy lejos. “Farawell Records” ya han fichado por ellos y esto dice más que suficiente.
Desde Leipzig llegan Myra, mezclando Thrash y Hardcore con un toque moderno. Teníamos muchas ganas de verlos al fin en vivo y fue una grata sorpresa, una banda que seguiremos de cerca y que esperamos ver en vivo de nuevo muy pronto.
Con una fuerza descomunal llegaban Bitter Verses, no puedo evitar la comparación con “Walls Of Jericho”, ya que la fuerza de y actitud de Caro nos hacía pensar en Candace. Un gran directo lleno de energía y pasión.
Y ahora toca hablar de los que en nuestra humilde opinión fueron los reyes de la velada.
Que barbaridad de directo!!

Como podemos describirlos...? Voy a transcribir su definición de Facebook, que creo correcta: Dance Death Metal!! Que fiesta señor@s, poderío a raudales. Hicieron bailar hasta al último de la fila. Se movían más que la gelatina en un terremoto.
Se lanzaron al público, tocaron por los suelos... Alucinamos con esta pedazo de banda.
Lo tienen todo: una puesta en escena impresionante: se pintan el cuerpo de negro completamente menos un triángulo en la cara en la parte de la boca que es blanco.
La calidad musical es sublime y son personas maravillosas. (Tuvimos el placer de hablar con ellos tras la descarga y nos confirmaron el dato.)
Todo nuestro apoyo para que crezcan y lleven su locura y su alma festiva por el resto del mundo, porque esto no puede quedarse limitado a Alemania.
Su primer álbum acaba de publicarse, no os lo perdáis!
La siguiente banda no necesita presentación, se están haciendo un hueco más que merecido entre los grandes del Hardcore y esto tiene una explicación muy simple: Son Enormes!!! Risk It nunca defraudan, un directo demoledor y potentísimo. No dudéis en verlos en vivo.
Deserted Fear es otro nombre que tampoco necesita presentación. Jamás nos cansaremos de disfrutar de su excelente descarga. Old School Death directo a lo más profundo de vuestras entrañas.
Que cada verano toquen en los festivales más grandes de Europa y giren con bandas de la talla de “At The Gates”, “Obituary”, “Mantar”, “Heaven Shall Burn”... lo ratifica.
Están donde están porqué se lo han currado y lo tienen más que merecido. Una banda que jamás defrauda. Grandes como músicos y como personas.
Y qué mejor para cerrar la noche que una última descarga Hardcore! Offside saltaron sobre las tablas con mucha fuerza y culminaron la noche de la mejor manera posible.
Una velada para recordar, llena de buena música, gente maravillosa y ambiente familiar.
