This Czech/German quartet has been playing since 1998 and is one of the stalwarts of the extreme death metal scene. PIKODEATH has been doing this style for over a quarter of a century and they are definitely doing it right. In their music you will hear only the best that death metal style brings and their latest album "Killed by Silence" is a clear proof of that!!!
Sharpened guitars, fast drums, which do not spare solid blastbeats and throaty hoarse invite you to mosh fight under the stage!!! MAN, MACHINE AND THE COLD WORLD!!! It's not so long ago, when this band played at OEF for the first time, but the apocalyptic experience from their set made us invite these "almost gods" of industrial metal again!!! It's none other than GODFLESH!!! From their 1989 debut "Streetcleaner" to their latest cut "Purge" this duo crushes us with heavy industrial beats and total post-apocalyptic atmosphere as only GODFLESH can!!! The combination of man and machine really works here and those who missed GODFLESH at Obscene Extreme in 2022 should not hesitate this time.
As Justin Broadrick, the forefather of extreme music, wrote to us, he is extremely excited for OEF and we can look forward to one of the special live sets of GODFLESH!!! It's going to be an assault of machines with the atmosphere of post-war industrial Birmingham, cold as steel!!! This will be GODFLESH at Obscene Extreme!!!
DEATH METAL STRAIGHT FROM BEYOND!!! Some say that repetition is the mother of wisdom. With this band it is doubly true, because after the absolutely breathtaking set of American MASSACRE at OEF, here they are again!!! This time with a special set of the complete and legendary album "From Beyond", which MASSACRE will play only at Obscene Extreme 2025!!! There is definitely no need to introduce this death metal gem, as this album has become an absolute classic of the style, and even though it was recorded in 1990, the songs from it have been around much longer and still have incredible power today.
Those who experienced MASSACRE's debut at the Battlefield last year would tell us that their performance was absolutely magical and the band, along with all of us, enjoyed it immensely and it will be no different now, as the guys led by Kam Lee are very much looking forward to Obscene Extreme!!! The classics of all classics, MASSACRE and FROM BEYOND at OEF 2025!!! We have no doubt that all hell will break loose at the first notes of "Dawn of Eternity"!!!
STILLBIRTH - genre anarchy full of exploding energy is back because they
know where the best party is!!! The German horde is not far away from us. Not to mention that their lead singer organises also a great festival in his country, Deathfeast! Their work is a crazy mix of everything that has balls, gets you high, increases your alcohol level and makes you jump uncontrollably!!!
The guys have been on the scene since 1999 and have played Obscene once so far. Believe me, a lot has changed since then and they know how to spank you, just get your asses ready! It's gonna be a paaartyyyyyyy!!!
MOLOTOV GRINDCORE COCKTAIL!!! Next premiere on Obscene Extreme (and there are more in 2025) are these French grind anarchists PROUDHON!!! This trio with a singing drummer brings us a great portion of energetic grindcore with a slight admixture of death metal, all wrapped up in hellish speed and great musicianship. PROUDHON was formed in 2021, so they are a relatively young band and you can never have enough of them.
The heavy anger and bitterness of this world is reflected in PROUDHON's music, which not only this band puts on display on their records, but also on their numerous concerts where these young guys really kill it!!! It's great that this anarcho grindcore is not dead yet and PROUDHON are a great example of that!!!
