AMERICA GOES HEAVY!!! Speed heavy metal on Obscene Extreme? We say, why the fuck not!!! We all grew up on it and still love it!!! This year's representatives of this style, which was definitely the basis for later extreme music, may not come from the British Isles, but from the USA, but they honor their roots perfectly and their music has a great drive. They are none other than a band made up of a few members of well known thrashers Municipal Waste, calling themselves BAT!!!
Led by Ryan Waste, BAT fires from the hip with great melodies and powerful choruses like the whole NWOBHM movement is back and more. BAT's music is laced with awesome forays into speed, thrash but also into punk rock or very heavy rock and roll and this makes them an adept for the biggest headbanging at OEF!!! Thanks to BAT we get to see America go HEAVY once again and that's fucking cool!!!
THE ROTTEN SWAMP OF THE UNDERGROUND!!! Music in tempo as if your decayed corpse is slowly being eaten by worms. That's exactly how the Italian/Czech band LARVAE sounds!!! This truly bizarre project was created in 2020 in the absolutely twisted mind of frontwoman Lucilia Sericata, whose morbid ideas are helped to realize into a wall of sound by bassist Maso Alastor Desekrator and the lost son of Obscene Extreme, Tom Coroner, who this time does not sit down to eat his lángos, but finally again to the drum stool!!!
LARVAE evokes a total underground with an atmosphere of frowsty and really raw doom/death combined with gore/splatter themes!!! We had to reach really deep underground for this band, but we suspect that LARVAE will be a total lysergic experience for all fans of morbid visions at the Battlefield!!! And the worms will crawl here...
UNDERGANG – ZOMBIFYING ROTTEN SICK DEPRAVITY FROM DENMARK!!! Formed in 2008, UNDERGANG was incarnated to create the heaviest and filthiest death metal one could possible imagine. With guitars tuned to ultra low sonic harsh rasp sounding like a gurgling sewage combined with heavy pounding drums and vocals either regurgitating sick depravities or shrieking in suffocating agony, UNDERGANG became a cult name in the death metal underground.
They have released five LPs, many EPs and splits mostly with the very important contemporary death metal label Me Saco Un Ojo Records. Playing live has always been a priority for them, so plenty of shows and tours have been done around Europe, America, Japan and Australia through the years. David „Torturdød“ Mikkelsen, the founder, vocalist and quitar player have established the band pretty well in the international death metal scene of today through his intensive networking, trades, organizing underground shows, running an extreme metal undergroung music shop in Copenhagen, Denmark, running the label Extremely Rotten Productions and working as an artist under the moniker "Ink Lesions".
Their live shows have been always fun to watch or mosh into. So, get ready for the trademark UNDERGANG’s old school death metal style full of chainsaw guitar tones, simple punk structures and nasty riffs entwined with memorable haunting melodies. Overtaken by death – UNDERGANG!!!

VERBAL ABUSE, a band from the first wave of American hardcore, formed in 1981, truly deserves the status of playing legends. Together with bands like Minor Threat, Black Flag or D.R.I., VERBAL ABUSE are the pioneers of fast hardcore or if you want call it thrash crossover on the North American continent!!!
All fans of this style need no reminder of their records and the fact that VERBAL ABUSE broke up several times only to come back again and the current strength of the band of these "hardcore geezers" is unbelievable. We can clearly hear it on their latest effort "Hope is Lack of Information" released just a few weeks ago!!! VERBAL ABUSE will light the hardcore fuse for the first time at OEF and we have no doubt that the this show will be as intense as a rocket launch in their hometown of Houston!!!
THE HIGHEST ENERGY LEVEL OF GRIND MADNESS!!! One of the last bands we will present for Obscene Extreme 2025 is this four-piece from Halen, Belgium, called DAYS OF DESOLATION!!! The origin of this squad dates back to 2007, when it was founded by brothers Jasper and Owens. And since their beginnings it was an incredible grind pressure with the energy of Chernobyl nuclear explosion!!!
DAYS OF DESOLATION made their debut in 2013 and followed it up with more recordings and a few line up changes to bring their latest and undoubtedly best record "Circles" to the light of day!!! Awesome fire at an incredible speed and an absolute energy bomb that you definitely want to see live!!! And at OEF you have a chance!!! This can fucking hurt!!!
PSYCHOPATHIC GRINDCORE DREAMS!!! This really isn't a dream. This original and truly elusive extreme duo returns to the Battlefield after twenty-five long years!!! It is none other than a pair of brothers calling themselves T.O.O.H.!!! Those who are interested in the Czech underground scene, of course, know this band well, because T.O.O.H. have been with us since 1993, although the roots of the brothers Humanoid and Schizoid, i.e. the main and nowadays only characters of the band, go back even further. Since their beginnings, T.O.O.H. have been playing music that defies anything that could be categorized. Their music is constantly full of neurotic rhythms and an incredible psychopathic mood, all wrapped in an extremely progressive package with lyrics that would make any psychiatric doctor happy!!! This original mishmash did not escape the attention of the famous Earache Records, who released T.O.O.H.'s "Order and Punishment" album in 2005, but the brothers were not happy with this collaboration and their subsequent releases are back entrenched in the total music underground. Don't miss this band at OEF, because this is going to be a really crazy and extreme dictate "under the rule of the whip"!!! Get your asses ready!!!
