PUNK BATTLE ON THE BATTLEFIELD!!! At Obscene Extreme, there's definitely never a shortage of punk. The pissed off, aggressive and generations damned style, which we like very much and the next band we present is its absolutely classic representative, THE VARUKERS!!! They were formed in 1979 and are one of the main leaders of the UK punk wave 82, together with Discharge, Chaos UK and Charged GBH.
THE VARUKERS have taken the pissed-offness of punk but added some really sharpened metal guitars, and led by charismatic frontman Rat, they have mixed a truly explosive Molotov cocktail that we hear on their records and especially at THE VARUKERS shows!!! This quartet will travel to Battlefield Trutnov for the second time (first time in 2011!!!) and we definitely expect a real punk riot under the invasion of this punk ride!!!

Rising from the depths, Molder unleashed their major label debut, "Engrossed In Decay," in 2022, propelling them into the spotlight and solidifying their status as a powerhouse in the genre. They’ve dominated stages across the U.S., leaving a trail of destruction at renowned festivals like Milwaukee Metal Fest, Volcanic Strike Hawaii, and Maryland Deathfest. Now, MOLDER is back with a vengeance! Teaming up once again with Prosthetic, they’re ready to unleash their latest massacre: "Catastrophic Reconfiguration," released in November 2024. This new offering promises to push the boundaries of brutality even further.

We are very happy about these bands in the OEF team, because they make it clear that the style we love the most, which is grindcore, is not dead and is not going to retreat!!!

AFRICA GOES EXTREME!!! The band we are going to introduce to you now is really one of the special ones that will play at OEF 2025. Thanks to these guys, our extreme music is spreading and expanding to continents and countries where a few years ago we would not have expected it!!!
OVERTHRUST is a band from Ghanzi, Botswana and they swear by simple but punchy old school death metal!!! They have been around since 2008 and besides a lot of good recordings, this quartet has played shows not only on the African continent, where OVERTHRUST spread awareness about extreme styles of music. OVERTHRUST is also behind the festival Overthrust Winter Metal Mania, which not only supports the local African scene, but also has a charitable overlap, supporting underprivileged children and raising awareness about AIDS in Botswana!!! This is something, we at the Obscene Extreme team are really happy to see and support, which is why we decided to invite these African cowboys to join us at the Battlefield!!! We hope you see it the same way and give the boys from Botswana a warm welcome not only under the stage!!! Africa goes extreme!!!
F*CK YEAH, BLOOD DUSTER ARE BACK!!! We are sure you haven't forgotten them, and it's a big surprise, but BLOOD DUSTER is back!!! In fact, can you imagine a comeback of BLOOD DUSTER anywhere else than on Obscene Extreme? The connection between OEF and BLOOD DUSTER has been going strong since their first memorable show in 2005!!! Who among you would forget when a naked Jason PC marked his territory with his urine?
