As every veteran of Obscene Extreme Festival already knows, the road to the Battlefield is never completely predictable. Line-up changes are simply part of underground festival life, and unfortunately OEF 2026 has now been hit by another unavoidable setback.
Canadian grindcore newcomers BODYROT, who had originally been scheduled to appear at this year’s edition of the festival, have officially cancelled their entire upcoming tour due to serious health issues affecting a member of the band’s family.
The organisers expressed their full support for the band during this difficult situation, stating that some things are simply far more important than music and wishing BODYROT and their loved ones all the strength possible in their fight against what they described as an insidious illness.
But as one door closes, another explodes completely off its hinges.
With a sudden opening appearing in the line-up, Obscene Extreme Festival 2026 has moved quickly to bring in one of the most talked-about names currently emerging from the Czech underground power violence scene: LILIXELBE.
Hailing from Pilsen, this furious duo has rapidly built a reputation for delivering absolutely savage blasts of powerviolence intensity stripped down to its purest and most violent form. No unnecessary decoration. No pointless technical flexing. Just raw speed, chaos, grinding aggression and total sonic destruction fired directly into the audience like bullets from point-blank range.
According to the organisers, LILIXELBE perfectly embodies the classic “short, fast and loud” philosophy that has always stood at the rotten heart of underground fastcore and powerviolence culture. Their songs hit with overwhelming immediacy, combining frantic blastbeats, razor-sharp riffs and pure uncontrolled rage into an attack designed specifically to ignite instant chaos in the pit.
Despite being a relatively young name compared to many long-established OEF veterans, the duo has already generated significant underground buzz thanks to an intensely aggressive discography and live performances built entirely around uncompromising energy and total physical impact.
The organisers strongly encouraged fans unfamiliar with the band to immediately dive into their releases before the festival itself, promising that LILIXELBE will deliver one of the most violent and explosive openings of the entire weekend.
At Obscene Extreme Festival 2026, the Battlefield’s power violence zone is officially activated — and LILIXELBE are arriving fully armed.
