UNBOUNDED TERROR - IMMORTAL VIOLENCE FROM BALEARIC ISLANDS!!! One of the very first Spanish Death Metal bands, UNBOUNDED TERROR was formed in 1991 in Mallorca by Vicente Payá. By the end of 1992, the band released their debut album, widely considered the first Death Metal record in Spain, titled "Nest of Affliction", still regarded by many as a "cult classic" within the national scene. The band developed a very personal and unique style of Death Metal, comparable perhaps to early Sepultura, Deicide or Massacre. Unfortunately, in 1993, the band decided to disband due to internal issues and musical disagreements.Vicente Payá, founding member and leader of UNBOUNDED TERROR, took an indefinite break, during which he formed another pioneering band in the Spanish Death-Doom scene called Golgotha, releasing five full-length albums from 1995 to the present.
In 2019, Vicente decided to revive the band with new members and recorded "Faith in Chaos" marking UNBOUNDED TERROR’s return to the scene. In September 2022, they released their latest work, "Echoes of Despair". By the end of 2024, they finished their new album, which is expected to be released sometime in 2025.

VIKING RAID OF ROUGH ROCKERS!!! "Slowly We Rock" these veterans say about themselves, but it's not entirely true. MASSGRAV from Sweden are on fire!!! Minute-long burnouts at hellish speed with an admixture of great catchy riffs and melodies. This is exactly what MASSGRAV is and for the third time they will prove it to us at the Battlefield!!!
You may all remember MASSGRAV as a trio, but they've been a foursome for a while now, with the addition of the man most in charge, Jester Liveröd (Nasum, Burst) and with him the band has matured like French cheese. Swedish mangel at OEF 2025, so what else do you want to hear.
THE ROTTEN BUTCHER IS BACK!!! This ultra-brutal machine from the land of the rising sun will come to the Battlefield for the third time after several years!!! It is none other than the band of the great enthusiast and collaborator OEF Naru and his BUTCHER ABC ensemble!!! So it is quite clear that we will be dealing with ultra brutal gore grind death metal rumble, which has a great sick melodies.
BUTCHER ABC have been around since 1994 and when they first played here they didn't even have a record yet, but today they are already deserved scouts of the extreme scene, whose activity has brought them to stages all over the world!!! BUTCHER ABC, welcome back to OEF stage!!!
FOR THE LAST TIME!!! Everything has a beginning and an end. This almost "home-grown" band has played at Obscene Extreme at least five times, not only at Battlefield, but also at the American version of the festival. It is none other than the well-known French grinders INHUMATE!!! Formed in 1990, they have declared themselves to be finished in 2025, when they will grind us for the last time on the OEF stage with their furious take of great grindcore music.
So after 35 years of underground career it will be over. The end of a band that has written in golden letters in the annals of music, those with crossed notes and those who will be truly missed!!! But there is no time for tears, but let's enjoy them once more at full throttle!!! Thank you INHUMATE!!! You will not be forgotten!
CADAVERIC INCUBATOR – SICK GHOULS WILL FEAST!!! CADAVERIC INCUBATOR was formed in 2005 by Necroterror (bass/vocals) and Humiliator (guitar/vocals) with the help of various drummers who came and went during the band's first incarnation, which lasted around two years. The aim was to play an old-school disgusting death metal as Carcass, Xysma, Repulsion, Entombed or Autopsy did in the early days. No social or political messages - just raw, filthy brutality and total death! But after two demos and many live shows, the band split up in
early 2007.
In 2014, Necroterror resurrected CADAVERIC INCUBATOR by teaming up with his old friend Pentele, who he had known from the early '90s scene - back in the deep Finnish backwoods when Necroterror played in his first-ever death metal band, Excrement, and Pentele was drumming for Carnifex and Festerday in the same area. Original founding member Humiliator was asked to join as well and the new demo "Unburied Abominations" was recorded. After several live shows and a demos compilation on Terror from Hell Records, the band finally recorded 12 tracks in early 2016 for their debut album "Sermons of the Devouring Dead" released by Hells Headbangers.
Two split EPs with Festerday and Axeslaughter released in 2018 preceded the new album "Nightmare Necropolis". It was released in 2021 in a typical Cadaveric fashion - a pure horror worship but more raw and wild this time. Their guideline is the same since the beginning - to be brutal, raw and aggressive with the morbid and evil edge to it at the same time. Menacing and repulsive old school death metal at its best.
In 2021, an EP split with Leprophiliac preceded an awesome Christmas split EP with Undergang released by Extremely Rotten Production in December 2021 with CADAVERIC INCUBATOR contributing the song "Swarming Vulgar Xmas". Get ready for a massive amount of morbidity coming to the OEF in 2025! Watch out as sick ghouls will feast!
ATTACK OF ATOMIC GRINDCORE!!! Hell of a blast coming from Sicily!!!! ERASER is another great discovery for OEF 2025. The four grind mafiosi have been around for ten years, but only now have they come to our attention. ERASER are into the total old school concept of grind butchery and their role models include none other than Terrorizer, Napalm Death and other classics of the genre.
They have already released two great albums as well as several EPs that are definitely worth a listen, because this neanderthal carnage will sweep you off your feet!!! Distortion to the full, speed throttle pushed all the way down and a voice tending to the best death metal vocals!!! Ufff... ERASER will come to wipe you out!!
