WALL OF GRIND CRAZINESS!!! This Norwegian band called BEATEN TO DEATH is maturing like wine. Already the first time they played at Obscene Extreme in 2019, they impressed us as a total energy bomb and their show really cut into our brain coils. Because that absolutely insane mix of extreme blast beats with breakneck turns to somewhere into psychedelia with a 70s guitar sound, we can not easily forget it.
BEATEN TO DEATH have been with us since 2011 and have already released six albums, the latest one with the poetic title "Sunrise Over Rigor Mortis" is a real treat for all those who like it sonically obscene, because this is how BEATEN TO DEATH music sounds!!! So don't expect any easy going stuff, because these Norwegians will hit hard!!!

WAKE - this is great sounding death metal combined with the dark emotions of modern black metal in hellish blastbeat speeds, wrapped in a really brutal sound!!!
WAKE was formed in 2009 and their music has slowly evolved into the present form, in which they are very confident and their albums show it!!! WAKE, apart from the total blast, plays very skillfully with dark emotions and atmospheres and this band will definitely stand out at this year's OEF!!! The black horse of the festival - it's WAKE!!!
PUNK, CHAOS, DESTRUCTION!!! And it wouldn't be the Obscene Extreme Festival if there wasn't also a pure punk. And it is almost a tradition that part of the punk participants are bands from the United Kingdom island where this energetic style originated. The band THE VILE is nothing but another one of the bands of Rat (ex DISCHARGE, THE VARUKERS).
THE VILE date their formation back to 2009, when they recorded their first single with an almost all-star line-up including members and ex-members of bands like HELLKRUSHER, BROKEN BONES, DISCHARGE and ANTI SYSTEM. Since then, and without hesitation, THE VILE have been going at a hell of a pace, playing all over the globe, so this year, and it will be their second time at OEF, there's nothing to worry about. THE VILE at OEF 2025!!! UP THE PUNX!!!
SATAN'S LEGION OF DARKNESS!!! A holy war on Battlefield? Of course, we mean only the musical one, because the band we are about to introduce has taken on the style of War Metal and we just shake our heads in disbelief at how brutal it is!!! The duo from American Virginia, ANTICHRIST SIEGE MACHINE is not only the darkness itself, but their music is driven by an incredible force, which we can compare to the hellish turmoil of war and machine gun fire of flying bullets!!! Chaos, hell and true evil oozes from their truly morbid music.
ANTICHRIST SIEGE MACHINE was formed in 2016 and since then they haven't stopped their war against the filthy practices of the church. You'll know if you listen to one of their absolutely grinding records!!! This will be the first time these hell-raisers will be at Obscene Extreme and we believe that during their set an inferno will unleashed at the Battlefield! SHEMHAMFORASH!!!
COMPLETE GRINDCORE ANNIHILATION!!! With these four veterans, the Battlefield will be shaken to its foundations!!! For the second time at OEF we will see the lovers of ultra fast hardcore/grindcore from the north of the Netherlands, MY MINDS MINE!!! A sheer and unstoppable fire of grindcore projectiles in the cadence of the famous AK47 with excursions into ultra energetic power violence stop and go style. MY MINDS MINE was formed in 1995, so this year they celebrate 30 years on the scene!!!
And while the guys were in hiatus for a while, their 2014 return was a big thing in the underground scene and MY MINDS MIND certainly didn't go any soft, but rather put a solid fire under the boiler. After all, we already saw that at OEF 2015 when MY MINDS MIND played our place for the first time and crushed us to dust!!! This time it will be a complete annihilation!!! No doubts!!!
THE DEFINITION OF INSANITY!!! Here we have another band that will have its debut in 2025 not only at Obscene Extreme, but in Europe in general!!! It's a pair of madmen from Sacramento, America, calling themselves HUMAN OBLITERATION, who were formed in 2010 and musically they move in a hilarious mix of grindcore, death metal with a dash of punk ferocity and doom melodies. It sounds like a crazy combination, but it really works, because HUMAN OBLITERATION play it with absolute ease!!!
Although as a duo, HUMAN OBLITERATION have not only released a great album or split with Greece's Vile Species, which is worth a listen, but also performed at really prestigious underground events like Zesta Grande or Earslaughter fest. And this time they will be performing for the first time at the Battlefield and it would be foolish to miss them!!!
