Han introducido voces propias del Crossover al más puro estilo de Municipal Waste, pero manteniendo ese registro vocal de Carcass. ¿Os acordáis de esa monotonía que se respiraba en los anteriores álbumes? Cinco años después, han conseguido “rejuvenecer”.

The AGR team is proud to announce Hollywood Groupies as the new talent to become part of its international roster of artists. This four pieced line up was born in the year 2006. Thanks to a refined song-writing, already well appreciated by critics all over the world and a sustained live activity, Hollywood Groupies was able to improve their sound further reaching a strong personal style now easily recognizable.

Since their acclaimed self-titled debut in 2011, Forma have been perfecting a distinctive style of improvised kosmische and minimalism that blends swirling arpeggios, ambient soundscapes, and driving motorik beats. Physicalist is a sprawling, double LP journey featuring new member and multi-instrumentalist John Also Bennett, who replaced Sophie Lam in 2014. The first Forma album to include acoustic instrumentation, Physicalist owes more to American composers like Harold Budd or Terry Riley than Klaus Schulze and other Krautrock visionaries. The album was recorded during marathon sessions at Brooklyn’s Gary’s Electric studio, and is packaged in a gatefold jacket with original artwork by Robert Beatty and a liner notes essay by writer and critic Michael Barron. Physicalist was mastered by Bob Weston.

Arizona death metal newcomers GATECREEPER have announced their savage debut album Sonoran Depravation. Having devastated the underground since their formation less than three years ago, GATECREEPER now unleashes their first full-length, produced by Ryan Bram at Homewrecker Studios and mixed by Kurt Ballou (Converge, Nails, Black Breath) at God City Studios. Sonoran Depravation tears and chugs through more than thirty minutes of crusty, doom-soaked death metal at its most infectious and uncompromising with a massive sound that calls to mind the classic Swedish buzz-saw attack of Dismember and Grave mixed with the impeccable groove of Obituary and Bolt Thrower. On September 23rd, Neurosis take a dominant leap with their eleventh full-length, Fires Within Fires. Three decades in the making, and following 2012's Honor Found In Decay, the album is a testament both to the history and future of Neurosis. Fires Within Fires is succinct, raw and deeply soulful, an all-encompassing reminder that transfiguration in sound remains their most commanding and inimitable strength. Dass BETRAYAL ein ausgeprägtes Faible für das übermächtige Vermächtnis der USA-Originatoren Death haben, hört man schnell in den oftmals ähnlich flüssigen Songs des fitten Quartetts heraus. Die stilistisch interessante Schnittmenge der hörbar begeisterten Formation um Brüllbox Alex zitiert auf originelle Weise etablierte Acts wie At The Gates, Hypocrisy und Edge Of Sanity. Frühe Arch Enemy können ebenfalls als Querverweis herangezogen werden.
